Beth L. Tippett,
an associate, joined the firm in 2008 after graduating from the University of
Arizona, James E. Rogers College of Law. As a law student, Beth clerked with
Ridenour Hienton & Lewis and interned with the Staff Attorney’s Office of the
Arizona Supreme Court and the United States Department of Homeland Security
Immigration and Customs Enforcement. She also volunteered her time as a law
student with Lawyers for Literacy and the Volunteer Lawyers Program.Beth
practices primarily with the Firm’s Employment Group, counseling employers in
all facets of employment law to ensure compliance with federal and state laws
and prevent employment-related disputes and litigation. Beth’s experience
extends to investigating and defending claims of alleged employment
discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour violations, wrongful
termination, breach of contract and disciplinary issues. In addition, Beth
regularly counsels her clients in litigation prevention strategies, working with
them to draft and implement internal policies and procedures, handbooks,
employment and separation agreements, and confidentiality and restrictive
covenant agreements. |
